![]() If you warp to the newbie islands, the quest giver is literally right in front of you with a quest arrow pointing them out. The tutorial tells you what the different zone stories are, and it tells you about the Alliance questlines. If you are lost or think you might have skipped ahead, go to UESP and check the questlines.Īs another poster has pointed out, there is literally nothing in the game to tell players what the correct order actually *is*, nor, indeed, anything that even says that there is a correct order in the first place! The quests are presented simply as standalone quests. They fixed the newbie islands so they do not reference you falling out of the sky, that´s probably all they´ll do.Īnd again, you can complain or you can solve it yourself. Like I wrote, the price you pay for being able to play in any zone, is that if you want to follow the questline you´ll have to put in a little effort yourself.īut then, they are not going to put in the effort to make several different versions of quests depending on where you choose to teleport to. Same thing for some other stuff, you can meet characters like Lambur in Bethnik before you complete Stros M'kai, etc. This does inevitably lead to inconsistencies - I did the Eastmarch Lodorr quest today, and yes, it still refers to you as having no soul, even though I got it back long ago. That update effectively decoupled the questlines. ("Has it been so long", in Fin Raziel´s voice). I mean, a lot of this actually goes back to the release of One Tamriel, which was over 6 years ago. I don´t remember the FG as being interconnected in a big way with other questlines, but I might misremember.Īnd either way, when there is a correct order of sorts, the correct order is always "quests in one zone, then the next zone, with earlier quests being located nearer to the zone entrance". And there isn´t a strict interrelation between the vestige and alliance quests, either. It doesn't tell you anything about the correct order of "side" quests, or the interrelation between the alliance quests, the vestige/5 companions quests, and the fighters' guild quests (which all have interconnected stories).įair enough, though there isn´t really a 'correct' order to side quests for the most part. ![]() That only applies to the "main" quest in the zone though. ![]()
